After high school I went to study in yeshiva in Israel for a year. I can’t remember why I did this; I wasn’t drawn to anything Jewish at the time. But I did go, and one thing led to another until I was staring at a certificate from the Chief Rabbinate recognizing me as an Orthodox rabbi. I still live in Israel today, filling the good part of my days in a law office in Tel Aviv and in pursuit of my dream to become a novelist.

This blog is about my (hopefully unique) perspective on Judaism in all its permutations.
